Boston-based artist and graphic facilitator, Kelvy Bird, appears on local cable to explain her work: The Fine Art of Listening.
This is a must-see if anything for the Valkyrie-like theme music that opens the show!
Kelvy give a very clear, brief description of the value that the practice brings:
"Sometimes in a conversation, people hear the loudest voice in the room, not necessarily all the voices in the room."
Watch the whole show to hear her intelligent description of graphic facilitation and how people grow into the profession. Her life as an abstract painter has greatly influenced her work as a facilitator (and vice versa) leading to an organic, intuitive style of working.
