Darrell Hammond, Kaboom!
Darell Hammond has
created an effective delivery mechanism to get playgrounds built by
bringing together communities and corporate volunteers in
underprivileged communities in the United States.
In poor communities the pent-up demand for spaces to play results in young people turning to television or video games, or worse, to gangs and drug abuse. And now Darell is seizing the historical moment to move beyond playgrounds to institutionalize the "right to play" for every child.

can often hear classical music playing through his office window.
The Cambridge Center is a non-profit organization which has offered quality education for adults for 64 years in Harvard Square. Our program is for people who want to explore new educational areas and develop their abilities, for personal and professional reasons, for a reasonable investment of time and money, in a friendly yet challenging atmosphere.The Center is self-supporting, relying on tuition income and contributions from our supporters, and is governed by a Board of Directors.
The center sees every type of student of every age looking to engage with everything from learning Microsoft Word to delving into the works of Wittgenstein .
